Prague Annual International

PMCP Summer Music Course

for all young musicians worldwide

 from 2nd to 12th of July 2024

(arrival day 1st July; departure day 13th July)

This summer course includes the following daily activities:

​

•         Orchestra lessons: rehearsals in sections with tutors and tutti rehearsals with                 conductors: 180-minute daily sessions

•         Instrument individual lessons: 60-minute lessons every day

•         Music Theory lessons: 45-minute daily sessions in groups (min. 3 students)

•         Chamber music lessons: available for pianists instead of orchestra

•         Rooms for practice during the entire course will be offered to all participants

•         July 6 trip to one of the historical places (to be confirmed)

•         Farewell party in the garden of PMCP

• ​        July 11 final orchestra concert in Prague hall

•         July 12 final concert of all participants in the PMCP concert hall

                                                                                               

                                                                                               Fee 1.750 EUR  

                                                         (the fee doesn't include accomodation and travel costs)

 

               COURSE FEES:

 

•         SET of ORCHESTRA & INSTRUMENT & THEORY lessons 1.750 EUR               

•         ONLY ORCHESTRA 10 lessons / 180 minutes every day 900 EUR               

•         Additional individual instrument lesson 100 Eur / 60 minutes               

•         Music Theory lesson 35 Eur / 45 minutes (minimum 3 students in a group)

After this date we can only accept applicants if there are vacancies.

PAYMENT:
Deposit 50% of the course fee should be transfered before 31st March 2024 to the PMCP bank account below.
Do not forget to write the applicant's name in the bank transfer note.
Proof of payment of the deposit should be sent to info@pmcp.cz before 31st March 2024.
After the PMCP confirms your participation in the courses, the applicant should transfer the remaining 50% of the course fee to the PMCP bank account until 31st of May 2024. 

Course fees may be paid also in cash upon prior written request to info@pmcp.cz 

 

CANCELLATION:
If PMCP is unable to offer a place, or is forced to cancel the course, any fees that have been paid will be entirely refunded (small differences may occur due to exchange rate).

Deposits cannot be refunded to applicants who withdraw from the course.

Applicants cancelling after June 1st are obliged to pay the entire course fee.

• Younger participants will have opportunity to practice with high-level students of the college.

• Rental of musical instruments is available upon request. 

• The cafeteria will offer drinks, snacks. 

• A violin maker will be available for small repairs of instruments or bow rehairing.

• Instruments and accessories for beginners and advanced players will be available for sale.
